Workshop 5: Business Model Development for Web Start-Ups. Building a stable business model online is challenging and has given rise to some pundits heralding the age of ‘FREE’ business to others. This workshop will focus on how to build revenue models ranging from freemium models, subscription, to b2b2c options.

In this workshop, we hope to help you find out ways of fundraising for your company, such as; When and when not to go to a venture capitalist, methods to designing a fundraising strategy, and common issues to look out for (i.e. understanding a termsheet, different classes of shares)

MiniBar Workshop 3: 101 of Online Marketing with Social Media. At this workshop, social media experts will introduce you to several strategies on how to turn social media tools such as, Facebook, Twitter, and the blogosphere into powerful marketing devices.

This workshop will cover different management methods such as ‘agile software management’ and what processes to use to arrive at a web development plan that translates business goals into achievable and workable web implementation.

Join Daniel Sim and Malcolm Coles for a practical non-nonsense workshop on using Google Analytics and Plugin SEO, effective copy writing for search engines and how to use Google sitemaps and website indexing to maximize coverage.

In November we will have a special format. You can come at 5pm and mix with international web entrepreneurs, who have been brought over by the British Council and join us for a short awards ceremony for the 'International Young Creative Entrepreneur' (and some drinks and food).
