Subject: Re: FLASH: small movie to determine whether user has plugin installed

Hello again!

Well, I've hit the head on the wall many times trying to find a
solution for the first page of the site.

So I thought:

1- Put a button linking to plugin, in the case of the user have no
plugin, and a text explaining "this site needs flash 3 - click the
button if you dont have It" - but this idea is bad, cause the user will
be tired to see this page each time he enters the page.

and hit my head on the wall again, and again. And found a solution:

1- I create, on a frame that is not used on my main movie, a
composition that explains "You doesnt have flash plugin - An auto-
installation will happen. Click reload after the installation"

2- I opened the Aftershock and selected to make the java
instalation for all browsers

3- Select the image relative to that frame related on item 1, and put
it as "alternate image"

thats ready: if the user has no plugin, the browser shows that
frame and begins an auto instalation.

See ya
