Subject: FLASH: A newbie question

i'm not even sure how to ask this but...

i want to bring an animation i did into a larger animation. i was wondering
if it was possible to export one flash project into another so that it
becomes part of a scene in a larger animation. one animation was sized at
200X150px and i want it to play inside the larger animation which is 400X
250. when i have imported a *.swf file into the larger animation, i found
that it wont maintain the frame borders set in the original animation i did.
so stuff that started off-stage is visible in the larger animation.

also, how do i export a .swf so that what is outside the stage in flash stays
invisible in the projector.

i realize now that i did this kind of backwards now- bad habits carried over
from working in after effects where compositions can be nested into larger
compositions.
