Ok... have the main timeline loop between frame 1 and 2 (put actionscript
that says Goto and Play (1) )

Pause the 2nd MC (with a STOP command on it's first frame)

Then, the first MC plays, at the end of that, put a /tell target which tells
the 2nd mc to start playing, and also a STOP for the 1st MC

At the end of the 2nd MC, have a /tell target to the MAIN timeline, which
tells it to skip to frame 3, and play.. AND a STOP on the 2nd MC.

There.. the main timeline will wait, MC 1 will play, then MC 2, and then the
main timeline will continue.

As a newbie, I'm screamin'.
THE PROBLEM: I have 2 MCs.
I want to instruct the 1st MC to play
completely, and then instruct the timeline to play the second completely
before moving along on the timeline. i'm pretty sure this is so basic that
I'm truly humiliated. Can anyone assist? (Grateful mewling noises).
