Jimmer,

I've got a Pbook G3 & a G3 B&W, both on 8.6 with NS 4.7.2 and IE 5.0, Flash
Plug-in 4.0r27 installed.

I've never encountered that problem personally, but my clients have
encountered a number of weird plug-in behaviours. All removed by an update
of the plug-in to a later version.

Your actions to remedy:

1. Update the Plug-in. Although I'm sure Macromedia won't admit to it, you
have to wonder why there are 27 !! releases of a 'simple' plug-in. :)

2. If problem still persists. Increase RAM allocation to browsers.

3. If problem still persists. Drop me a line, and I can give you another 20
items to do and check.

Regards,

Mats

PS. If you are getting fed up with your delicious G4, I've got a 'beautiful'
Bondi blue G3 over here. How about a swap ? :) :)
