Yes, that's certainly possible. Flash does realtime rendering of curves
into pixels. The more pixel area we cover, then the more calculations are
performed.

It's not a one-to-one relationship... other factors play a role too, as
Gregg described... but increasing the display area does increase the cost
on the processor, that's true.

(Try searching the Macromedia technotes with keyword "speed", "framerate"
or "synch" for other discussions of this subject.)
