Yes, you can do all of that with Flash...

You may want to purchase the Flash 4 Bible, check out www.flashlite.net and 

www.flashkit.com to get started. Once you are hot and heavy into 

actionscript, go snag Flash 4 magic, theres  a lot of very advanced code you 

can learn from in it.
