Hmmm interesting way you went about it... it wasn't what I was thinking, but 

a good solution non-the-less!


I decided to throw together how I would do it and put it up at:


www.figleaf.com/development/flash4/loadTest.html


Its only a two frame flash movie, the first frame has the bar in it, and the 

second frame the music. Javascript handles the looping.
