Actually, I believe the URL you are referring to is www.live365.com. I work
for this company, doing flash and graphic design. I spoke with the
engineering team and what you're speaking of, specifically to this website,
is not possible. We use proprietary server software for the MP3 streams,
which on the client side are channeled through RealPlayer, Winamp, or
similar players.

Besides, I don't know if there is a way to call a live stream from flash,
anyway...

I am curious, is it possible to stream a MP3 through flash, when someone
else is doing the broadcasting?

For example: Say I wanted a flash movie to connect to a streaming channel on
www.365.com and play it without opening the users default mp3 streaming
program?

And to prevent this from becoming some sort of ethics question on using
someone else's music, I would have permission from the content provider.
Lets not take this thread there.
