Jayse and all,

You can load your images for pages that come later in your HTML pages by
making a reference to them in the fore-running pages. Say if you have
your 'index.html' and your second page is 'index2.html', you can make a
<IMG SRC> tag or your <OBJECT> tag or use JavaScript(preferred) and make
the size 1 pixel by 1 pixel. This will download the graphic/movies and
it will be in the cache of the computer by the time the person on your
'index' or 'index2' pages get to the later page that the graphics are
used on.

I think we also call this preloading. I found a great reference using
DHTML at:

http://www.dhtmlzone.com/tutorials/index.html

You click on 'Launch the Superfly' and then immediately click on the
'Tutorial' button. The 'Opening Demo' area will have a hyperlink where
you can find 'Technique: Preloading Images and Layers.'

Thanks,

Scott Barlow
