uhh, watch out for StatMarket... their numbers have a long and colorful
history. If you've read this list for a while you'll remember Nigel's
sterling detective work on some of their problems in plugin measurement
methodology... their assertions and curiosities do not end there.


For the original post, if you're looking for "growth of the internet",
"sales volumes" and such, then I would usually go directly to the search
engines myself. Once I found the general range of offerings for statistics
I could start refining my search to what I was really seeking. (Usually
when I search I *sorta* know what I want, but I don't *really* start
understanding what I'm looking for until I see all the stuff I don't want.
I'm just sort of perverse that way, I guess.... ;-)
