Dion,
Just be sure to remember that PNG files (fireworks ext.) import to
Flash as bitmaps, not vector graphics. Not sure about Freehand.

Subject: FLASH: Undecided newbie Flash 4 designer

Hi,

I'm fairly new on the Flash bandwagon. My concern is choosing between
the
two vector based graphics softwares, Freehand 8 and Fireworks 2 for creating

content for my Flash movies. I have done some amazing things (well for
myself anyway) in Fireworks, and just recently downloaded the trial version
of Freehand. If I had to pick one or the other, which should it be? What
advantages does one have over the other? I remember faintly someone telling

me that Freehand is best for creating Flash 4 graphics, and that's why I
downloaded it. Please help, my budget is limited. =(
