*snip*
Is this statement correct ?

"

In order to control and change the
properties of an Instance in Flash with
ActionScript, the Instance must have
?Movie Clip? as the Behavior and must be
assigned an Instance name.

"

does this mean you cant control the properties of say, a button instance or
a graphic instance ?
*snip*

Yeah, it's true, but you can still set properties of buttons and graphics if
they are embedded in a movie clip (and this doesn't have a major impact on
file size). But then bear in mind you'll have to set all your button actions
within that MC, so you're going to have to know about tell targets.
