Perhaps if you are creating your gif files in Photoshop you might want to disable your
color settings since they are set for print rather than monitor color so your files
will not quit match the hexdec colors. Lynda Weinman explains it in her Photoshop 5.5
Image Ready tape. It worked for my web files.
