RE: FLASH: Flash Player 5 - UPDATE!!!! :)

To all -


As per this list's feedback last week, we ARE in the process of removing the

link to the Flash 5 beta player from the *default* download page. You will

still be able to get the beta player from the "alternates" grid, but the

link will be taken off of the main page.


We understand your frustration, and have tried to act as fast as we could to

fix this. The link on the main page was supposed to be removed last Friday,

but it was not. This page is in the process of being edited *right now* so

that the confusion will soon cease.


If it were up to me alone, that link would have been gone already. However,

we're a fairly big company, and things don't move as fast as you'd think

sometimes. Several departments are working on fixing this problem.


Thanks again for your patience, and I hope that this will take care of the

issue.
