FLASH: Stand alone F5 player

Is there a possibility of releasing a standalone flash 5 player, it seems

like that would solve a lot of problems people are having with

installing/uninstalling browser plugins etc. I've got a lot of movies that I

need to test in the 5 player and if I didn't have to go through a browser

It'd really help out.  I realize that it's not the final environment but it

sure makes testing easier.  Or will we have to pay $499 for the the player

and get the rest of flash 5 free ;)
