Subject: FLASH: Adobe Sues Macromedia [OT]

I really don't get it. I wrote Adobe with my ire.

Adobe uses icons provided by Apple to create its UI. Adobe didn't invent
pencils, brushes, magnifying glasses, etc.. They were all part of the
MacPaint Macintosh introduction. Macpaint had a palette for user
tools! And it was all built into the OS with toolbox calls.

Prior use seems to invalidate the claim. What is Adobe saying? We put
two tabbed palettes on the same palette? Big deal. That is not
invention, that is evolution.
