With simple objects probably the best way is just to cut and paste between
FH and Flash. In your export prefernces make sure you have RGB set. If the
thing don't look right when you paste it, break it apart.

Subject: FLASH: Importing swf into Flash from Freehand
I'm sure this crops up a lot but I've created an object in Freehand (simply
a grid of lines) which I export as a .swf then import into Flash. But it
doesn't come in as drawn in Freeehand - it simply is a series of invisible
objects. There's something there as I can see that there are selection
points but it is in what I drew in Freehand.
I'm following the tutorial in Hillman Curtis book, chapter 3 and drawing the
grid.
