Hi Mark,
It isn't typical to put a large movie (I assume you mean movie clip)
in a button state. At most you would only want to use a short
animation. If you're putting a swf in a button frame then I wouldn't
be surprised that you are having a problem. It would be much better
to put an invisible button in your movie clip and having the mc start
playing on mouse over. Or, tell target the movie clip to start playing
with a rollover action for the instance of the button. You'll get
much better results.
