First I'd like to mention that I find you to be a wonderful voice of reason

on this list and I for one appreciate that.


By now I'm sure there are many success stories on the Flash 5 download but

since I digest the list, I have not yet seen them.  I also preordered Flash

and this and found a message from the MM store this am saying

  1. Login into the Membership Center.

    *  http://www.macromedia.com/go/ols_membership_login/

  2. Go into Your Account and then into the Download Center.

  3. Locate order #MMxxxxxxxxxx and start your download.

1. I went to the site http://www.macromedia.com/go/ols_membership_login/

2. I logged in using the login I was given when I first ordered

3. I clicked on the "Your Account" button in the top nav bar

4. I got to a screen showing my current orders

5. I clicked on the Details button next to the order for Flash 5

6. I clicked on the download button on the page for Flash 5

7. I got a "mini-installer" downloaded which then required you to run and

download the full product (make sure to keep track of the serial number that

they give you since you will need it later).

8. Run the full installer.

P.S. When I went to the site to check up the instructions, the download

button was grayed out.  I don't know if this means that I knows I already

downloaded, or MM has stopped the download for some other reason.
