Okay, then lets keep this thread on the list. I just didn't want anybody to
think I'm an idiot for asking for help. I usually don't even ask for help
within my own organization because everybody charges huge $$ for
consultation work and would laugh at my request for a favor.
Anyway, it is for a friend who writes dance music professionally. He hooks
me up with tons of CDs each month, so I naturally felt obligated to design
his new website, rather than let him go to a designer who'd charge him the
big bucks.
So far he hasn't been able to really explain his idea very well other than
the quote I previously posted. I am imagining something along the lines of
"The Cell" meets "The Matrix"...(Dali vs. dark sci fi for those of you who
aren't movie buffs). I was thinking maybe using melting windows, strange
symbols, maybe an animated tunnel affect.....but I really don't know.
Usually at this point in my planning I have at least 4 pages of note book
paper filled with sketches and ideas, but currently have a blank notebook!!
Anyway, any help would be great. Does anybody have any Flash techniques
that would qualify as trippy or surreal?
Thanks,
Joe
