Subject: FLASH: OT: Disable Print Screen around a Flash Presentation
From: Chapman, Charles

I've got to build a small flash presentation that will contain company
sensitive information. People will be able to click on parts of it and get
more information.

Now, that is all good and fairly easy. But, here is the impossible part or
what I'm calling my "holy grail."

I need to be able to be 100% sure that no one will be able to print out any
of the information shown in the animation. Now since I'm going to do this as
a executable Flash piece I don't have to worry about the print command in
the browser like I would if I just embedded the Flash.

But, what this means is that I would have to somehow disable the Print
Screen command on the people's PC's. This I don't even know if it is
possible and I really wonder if once/if I changed it if it would be easily
reversible. I can't imagine that I can just turn it off like a switch and
then turn it back on after the flash is done.

So, if you have ANY guesses, hunches, divine interventions or anything else
I'd love to hear them.

Thanks for your time and thoughts.
