You're on the right track. The key is to put the MC where you want it at
the 4 limits of your bounding box, and look at the object inspector to see
where it is numerically (on a movie which is 550w x 400h, the top right is
0,0 and the bottom left is 550,400). Then copy those numbers into the
constrain fields.

hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction or tell me
how to constrain a draggable movie clip to a certain area. I've been messing
around with "constrain to rectangle" but I guess I'm just not getting it
cause when I put any numbers in those boxes, it causes the m.c. to dissapear
when clicked on. The effect I'm looking for is to constrain my opening menu
to the left side of the browser, like that control strip thingy on macs.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
