you just need flash4 and this fla-file that i put up for you

there is no 'real' collision-detection used in this fla, though,

i just put a button in the moving face.... if you need more control over the

face and the mouse-following object, collision detection would be the better

choice, but for this quick one, the button does the job as well.


grafix are quite shitty, but hey it's just a tut isn't it?

you should, by the way, compare filesizes... the eggo-shockwave was about

280Kb and this one is 33Kb; with a reasonable graphics lift-up you should

end up with 60Kb max. that is why shocked director-games suck, i think

(well... at least many of them; no offense meant, no flames please)
