Hi Jason

a) sure we've noticed- I first noticed this difference
when we placed a flash bitmap in director above another bitmap on the stage
b) this is not a solution, but might help in some cases:
-breaking your bitmap apart
-puttig 'allow smoothing' in bitmap props off
-placing your bitmap this way it's pixels are placed on 'descreet' flash
coordinates
( placing your bmp at , for instance 0 , 0 , as opposite to placing it at
0.3, 0,1 )

hth, and hoping this is true ; )
