Hmm, I heard this from one of our very own. Someone we all know, and someone
who, I assume, has fairly close connections with Macromedia.

I have always felt that Macromedia is somewhat ambivalent about their 'open
swf' initiative. I havent seen or heard anything regarding 'openness' amid
the flurry of Flash 5 announcements, and any queries I have made on various
newsgroups or through MM contacts have been ignored.

So here it is again, for any Macromedians that might be able to answer. What
is the current Macromedia position on the 'open swf' initiative they
announced last year.
