FLASH: ? help?

Hello all,


Having a problem with the 3rd or 4th line in here.....it's not determining

the max length of my imported text string for some reason.  What am I doing

wrong here?


        Load Variables ("temp.txt", "/char")

        Set Variable: "i" = 1

-->   Set Variable: "let" = /char:var1

-->   Set Variable: "max" = Length(let)

        Set Variable: "kerning" = "15"

        Set Variable: "size" = "20"

        Set Property ("char", Visibility) = "1"
