Subject: FLASH: Movie play ontop of itself?
From: Mark Goodman
Date: Wed, 2 Feb 2000 19:25:57 GMT

I am sort of new at flash and have a question. I would
like
to have a button start a movie clip that has about 100
frames in it.
Here is the tricky part...
I would like it (if possible) for the movie to
continue playing and
if the user hits the button again the movie will start
on frame 1
again but still play through the first button push.

Confused?
Okay I push the button.
Movie starts playing
while movie plays I push the button again.
lets say that the movie is on frame 30 when I push the
button again
now I would like the movie to continue playing on with
frame 31 and
also start playing again with frame one. The more I
push the button
the more instances of the movie play. How would you
build this?
