Well, I have an extensive knowledge of programming that I brought to the
table when I began playing with Flash. However, you may want to read the
first article in my Branden's Brain series over at Flashlite.net, it should
get you a little further along with Actionscript.

Ok, so I read through "Flash 4 Web Animation F/X and Design" and am
currently digesting "Flash 4 Magic"....and yet, my knowledge and
understanding of Actionscripts is still as mystifying as ever. Sure...enter
this script here and it does that there, but how the heck did you even come
up with the terms to put in there, much less know how to stick them
together??

I saw someone asked the other day for a book on actionscripting...and got
back a reply that it does not exist. How have the Flash Guru's learned
Scripting? Especially for someone like myself who is a graphic artist
trying to learn the programming side of Flash.
