And the point of wearing out the drive to avoid
using load movie is? I'd rather save my hard
drives for my video work, thanks. Why tell the
original poster to 'get a PC because you can work
with 90mb files with no problem', when you could
have simply advised them to boost their own
virtual memory as you did? Flash's problems with
handling large files create problems on both
platforms, and my own feeling is that MACR should
fix it.

Until that time, breaking huge movies into
sections and using load movie creates files that
are easier and more efficient to work with
whatever OS you are working on.
