Subject: FLASH: web-based tutorials using Flash
From: MCarter

Hi,

does anyone have any examples of online tutorials which have been done with
Flash? By that, I don't mean tutorials about using Flash, but tutorials done
in Flash for learning other things.

I have to produce something like a new products catalogue which will enable
users to learn all the key and new features of the products, and wondered if
anyone had anything to look at which might give me some pointers? Also, any
tips of what to keep in mind? I know a key issue will be to make it stream
well, as it will be accessed over the net by dealers from all over Europe.

One other thing .... has anyone seen any articles / research on how people
actually use computer-based learning resources? Is there anything to back up
why one should present things in a certain way, or how to use interactivity
to best advantage, or whether to do some sort of user testing to test
understanding?

thanks greatly in advance,

Mark
