William,

I haven't looked at it that close but there is a program called FAST - Flash
Action Script Tool which apparently offers you an alternative to writing
action script faster and then copying it into flash. I think you can get it
at http://www.swifftools.com/stools/ - note, it's still in BETA though.

1) cutting and pasting action script

is any one aware of a method of cutting and pasting action script. not as in
copying existing actions form another frame but, say form a text document
where it is quicker to input the script?

I have tried a number of file formats to copy from, however the action list
will only accept a copied text form other actions lists in flash

another question >> can anyone advise on scripting for the QuickTime
script editor?
I have not found anything in the manual or help pages about it (I am using a
win flash)

if you open a frame properties > select actions and press "e" a quick time
script editor appears. Hmmmm

is this solely for QuickTime import or export control or can this offer more
scripting options for flash?
