This release of FreeHand 9 is particularly attuned to the needs of Flash
developers... cool and useful stuff includes:
-- quickly lay out and arrange entire multipage storyboards for Flash
animations
-- SWF export includes transfer of symbol libraries
-- the live perspective and enveloping add critical tools to the existing
mirroring, hose, roughen and the rest
-- the new magic wand and autotrace combo quickly makes hi-fi vectors
-- the new blending abilities and new release-to-layers options offer very
different types of Flash animations
-- it's easier to design undisplayed material for Flash printing
-- your work can quickly flow out to SWF, or to good HTML, or to PDF, or
to printers, or to a variety of other tools
In addition to the Macromedia showcase, Ian Kelleigh has a new article:

The Live Perspective needs to be seen to be believed... I believe this will
help in many graphic effects in Flash.
