In fact, that's the default for most BC Scanners. Use one of these to
GET data is a no-brain, silly, almost stupid task (That's how I was
feeling when I discovered all you have to do is hook it in the keyboard
connector, and the scanner will 'type' what it reads).

The only drawback in your solution ( logically it's perfect) is if the
user puts too many frames between the check routine. There must be a
tigh (sp?) loop.
