More info appeared here yesterday... Corel announced that they will be
including the Flash Player in all shippings of their Corel LINUX operating
system, and also that CorelDRAW! 9.0 will export SWF files.

Later Adobe sneaked a peek at their LiveMotion (nee GroundZero nee
FlashKiller) at Seybold. Seems like it will put pixel-based sprite
animations in a SWF wrapper. Their GoLive sample showed adding Flash tracks
via their QuickTime editing interface, similar to what you can do with
MoviePlayer today.

There are already a few dozen tools that work with SWF, so it's great to
get the last big holdouts on board.
