Subject: | FLASH: HTTP Referrer IE Windows |

Why do hyperlinks from my Flash movie not send the referrer page
variable in some browsers?
A client is using a credit card service (ccnow) which returns an
error when the script doesn't have the referrer variable ...
A visitor informed me of this, and I confirmed it in with IE 5 NT ...
downloaded the ActiveX control again from MM ... still does not send
it. Tried sending http_referer as a URL variable .... their wouldn't
accept it.
The not send it when sending link to a named window, nor _top;
didn't try anything else, am sending visitors to a regular html page.
Is this a confirmed problem? Can anybody think of a less messy
solution than changing the location of a hidden frame which would
load the credit card service's basket?
