Subject: FLASH: A question about Text, Transition, CPU speed and everything else ;0)
From: Yann Poirier

Hi,

I was wondering, what is the best ways to give a text symbole a
transition that won't eat up all the CPU speed.

I wonder was is best between changing the size, alpha, tint, special
(and maybe another one that I don't know and you could give me). I know
alpha is a big CPU speed eater, but it's still the best thing I can
think of for a transition (it's not real hard to use, first frame 0 last
frame 100, don't need to be a genius to get that). Size seem to eat as
much CPU speed as alpha, wich seem strange since it's not broken apart.
As for tint and special, well I did some test but I'm still not
convience about them.

So if anyone could give me a little tip it would really help me.

Yann
