FLASH: Dual Monitor Win98-setting primary

Ok, I thought this process would be straight forward! haha

I just tried setting up a second monitor...my original card is ATI 3D Rage

Pro 2X AGP, so I popped the second card (ATI Mach 32 PCI) just below my AGP

slot in the open PCI slot, plugged in the monitor and fired up Win98.  It

booted on the second monitor (the Mach 32) and just before windows came up

it came up on the original monitor saying "If you can see this text you may

configure your desktop for extended blah blah blah"...BUT the second monitor

wasn't sync'd or couldn't support 32bit 1024x768 mode because I had a

scrmbled 1.5" line of junk at the bottom, that's it.  I don't know if it was

set to 32bit 1024 from the original card or what the deal was.


So how do you set the primary monitor?  I thought it would use the AGP slot

as primary since it was already installed, find the second hardware PCI card

on bootup and use that as secondary.
