Helen,
I've tried all three variations.
<% Response.Write ("Your Username is " + UserID)%>
<% Response.Write ("Your Username is " + (UserID))%>
<% Response.Write ("Your Username is " + Server.URLEncode(UserID))%>
Stilll, ASP returns the name of the variable and not the value.
I'm going to try and use "&" instead of + and check it out.
Meanwhile.. any other ideas??
:(
Regards
Vipin Kanwar

It happened not because of what Flash passed but because that's what you
told it to output:

Try response.write ("Your Username is " + UserID) instead
(or, for variables with other characters in them,
response.write ("Your Username is " + Server.URLEncode(Userid))
Now do you get the right thing?
