IME most free sound resources force you to buy a sound editing
software to get the quality and variations you need.

<plug>That's the reason why I launched a special Flash sound resource
last year, for those who want to concentrate on design and let
others do the fine-tuning of the sounds. You can d'load variations
of the same sound at different sample rates (22 or 44 kHz), for
Mac and PC of course, ready to import directly into your Flash
movie. - Btw it was the first sound library which used F4's MP3
compression for better preview. http://flash-sounds.com/ </plug>
