set the tween Easing options to "In" (-100)

that will make your tween gather speed from the start.
This is quite a basic answer compared to everyone elses but I think it is
what you are looking for.

I didn't think you were looking to closely portraying real life
acceleration, cos if you did you'd have to take into account friction, and
aerodynamics, which, altho may not be totally beyong the realms of flash
action script programming, it wouldn't be too easy.

P.S: Fight Club is one of the best films I've seen in ages.
