Just insert a labeled, blank (no graphics) frame in the movie clip, with a
Stop action. Use tellTarget to send the movie clip (or movie) to that
frame. Typically it's labelled "park" and we call this "parking" the movie
or MC. Then later you can TellTarget it to go to the frame where the
graphics appear, and the result will be nearly instantaneous rather than
taking a minimum of several seconds. To clarify on what others have said,
LoadMovie requires establishing contact with the server. It does not
require loading a movie that's already present in cache, however; the
browser should recognize and use the cache version in most or all cases.
