Subject: FLASH: Converting MP3's to SWF's instantly
From: Edwin van Rijkom

Dear all,

I've been working on a new tool called "SwiffPEG". The public-beta is
available for download at http://swifftools.com

Flash 4 doesn't support the direct input of MP3's into FLA files. SwiffPEG
creates a work around for this, by enabling you to convert a .MP3 file into
a .SWF file instantly.

The resulting file can be used as a stand-alone movie or can be incorporated
within an existing web-page or application, using the "LoadMovie"
Actionscript command.

There's also the option of merging an existing SWF with a MP3 file - but
that can not be tested in the beta that's currently available for download.

Please send me your findings & suggestions on the beta!

Thanks,
Edwin.
