FLASH: button problem driving me crazy!!!

Ladies and gentlemen,


Seems simple enough...


I am working on a project which uses a dozen instances of the same

button.  I'd like to have them change color on mouseover, but when I go

to edit one of them, I can't use the paint bucket or ink bottle to make

the change in the edit window.


Is there something that I've forgotten about multiple button use that

makes this impossible?  Or, I may just be LOSING MY MIND!
