To remove the IE Flash ActiveX:

(or some people just rename the directory that swflash.ocx is in

temporarily, in W98)


To disable Netscape plugin:

Find NPSWF32.dll in the Netscape plugins directory and move it to

another directory (W98) or rename it to npswf32.dlx (WinNT)

temporarily.  (Actually, I rename the plugins to something like

npswf32.dl5r30 so I can keep old versions and remember which one's

which...)
