No, this List is totally independent from MM.

Obviously, relatively new members are disturbed by half hour delays.

Few long term members would comment on delays of even an hour.

Almost all List Servers prioritize list response, so it doesn't

interfere with bread and butter server operations.


Sam Michael (Webmedia) is the official administrator and is generally

only involved in the Flasher List when there are technical problems (a

half hour turn around for a response from the List is not considered a

technical problem).


The Flasher List is self-regulated by the users of this List. There is

no official set of rules, no one is in charge of what is appropriate or

off-topic for the List and everyone is free to express their opinion

without fear of being edited. Few people have strayed from what others

have considered permissible and generally not for long. There have only

been a couple of instances of flaming on and/or about this List.


This is a peer to peer List for Flash Developers. What this List is not

is a time sensitive resource for business critical information. MM and

others including myself have programs for this. If you post to this List

(or almost any list), you are not guaranteed an answer since answers are

fielded by those who think they can help, when and if they have time.
