There is also a chance that if you are set at 16 bit color mode your
monitor is displaying a wrong color. Try switching to 24 bit color mode
to eliminate this possibility. Unfortunately exact color display from
system to system in 16 bit mode is impossible. Colors will always be
close but not neccessarily exact, due to variations in the methods used
to display 16 bit (thousands) colors.
