FLASH: Help Frame www.elle.com

Hi all,


Need a brain...


I visited www.elle.com which use good flash design, but my question is regarding the frase set on the right side with the red line that is draggable anywhere to the left side and show the site map.


Does anyone have an idea how they would explain this brilliant concept ??  Would it be flash or something else or a mix of both ?


I did try multiple frase set but my rigth frame does not resize over the middle or the left frame ?
