If nothing else, never, never ever, upgrade mid-project. Go with what you
know, my man.

Then, upon completion, you can make recommendations of "new/improved
technology" and see if they'd be interested. Be honest and upfront about it.

Perhaps mention it to them; it could be something they would want to do, but
there's learning curve and adjusted timelines to consider.
