Not correct, you need a program to export in a Flash compatible version
of wav (PC) or aiff (Mac).
For instance standard PCM will import, but Microsoft ADPCM will not.
If the bitrate is wrong it will import but may cause problems of sound
'speed' when Flash converts it for export at a Flash compatible bitrate.
The Windows Sound Recorder will convert both format and bitrate. There
are plenty of more audio programs that wll allow importing of most any
audio forr
mat and export in a Flash compatible sound file.
